Estimating · In beta

Estimates priced the way PDR is priced.

Pick the panel, the dent size from Dime to Half-Dollar, and the count range. The price comes from PDRCore's dent matrix, or a price you set on the estimate. Nobody counts dents one by one: the range sets the price.

  • Priced by dent size and range, or a price you set
  • The approved estimate stays locked
  • Customers approve from the link

Pricing

One matrix, your price on the estimate.

  • The matrix range picks the price

Each panel is priced from PDRCore's dent matrix by its dent size and the count range you pick. The range sets the price; a count is never typed or multiplied.

  • Or a flat price

Any panel can carry the price you agreed instead, and a whole-car price can cover several panels at once.

  • Insurance, retail and wholesale

PDRCore's one dent matrix is used mainly for insurance work. Retail cars take your own figure, and a wholesale account keeps its own price sheet.

  • Upcharges and parts

Aluminum, glue-pull and oversize upcharges on top of a panel's price, and a parts catalog for R&I and R&R work.

  • R&I and R&R, kept apart

Remove and reinstall is labor only. Remove and replace adds the part. Both sit under the panel they belong to, beside its PDR line.

Accounts

Rates that follow who pays.

  • A price sheet per account

Carriers, dealers, fleets and lots can each have their own price sheet, applied through the RO's billing account.

  • A dealer's own labor and tax

A dealer or fleet can have its own labor rates and its own tax rate, or none, and its cars are priced with them.

  • Sales tax by place and account

Set sales tax for the places you work and per account, and change it on one estimate when you need to.

Versions

A version of record you can stand behind.

  • Approved means locked

Once an estimate is approved it is the version of record. It doesn't change underneath anyone, and pay is figured from it.

  • Supplements with a reason

Found more damage? It goes in a supplement with a reason. Every sent version is kept, and each compares with the original side by side.

  • Every save in the history

Each save is kept with who made it and the total at the time, and an earlier save can be restored.

  • A check before it goes out

Before an estimate is sent, PDRCore points out what looks missing. You decide: none of the checks stop the send.

To the customer

Sent, approved and on paper.

  • A link and a PDF, under your letterhead

Send the customer a view link, or download a PDF with your shop's name and details on it.

  • Approved from the link

The customer approves from the link you send, confirmed with a one-time code by text or email. The name, time, version and check code are recorded. The shop decides where it's offered.

  • Every document a claim needs

Customer estimate, insurance supplement, repair authorization, invoice, photo pages and the damage diagram, each a PDF, or together as a claim package.

  • In your shop's own words

What your estimates and forms say is written by your shop, including a direction to pay. PDRCore supplies none of the wording.

  • Bring in an estimate written elsewhere

Import a PDF or a photo of a printout from another system. Every line is shown for review before it is added.

  • On your phone

Write and send an estimate from your phone, with a simpler view for a small screen.
